I’m trying to locate the defrost timer on my Kenmore refrigerator. I’ve looked around the back and inside the fridge but can’t seem to find it. Does anyone have any experience with this model and know where I should be looking? I’d really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been trying to locate the defrost timer on my Kenmore refrigerator for days. I’ve read the manual and searched online for answers, but nothing seems to be helping. I’m starting to get frustrated and feel like I’m going in circles.
Then, I remembered my dad had worked on this refrigerator before. I called him up and he gave me the answer I was looking for. He said the defrost timer is located behind the refrigerator, near the compressor. He said it’s usually a round, black knob that can be turned by hand.
I thanked him for his help and went to work. After a few minutes of searching, I found the timer. I was relieved to have finally located it. I adjusted the timer and the refrigerator was back to normal.
