how to replace thermal fuse on kenmore elite dryer

I recently purchased a Kenmore Elite dryer and I’m having trouble replacing the thermal fuse. I’ve looked online and read the manual, but I’m still having trouble understanding how to do it properly. Does anyone have any advice on how to replace the thermal fuse on a Kenmore Elite dryer? I would really appreciate any help or advice that anyone can provide. Thank you!

  1. I recently had to replace the thermal fuse on my Kenmore Elite dryer. It was a daunting task, but I was determined to get it done. I started by unplugging the dryer and removing the back panel. Once I had access to the thermal fuse, I used a screwdriver to remove the screws that held it in place. I then disconnected the wires from the thermal fuse and removed it. I purchased a new thermal fuse from a local hardware store and installed it in the same way I removed the old one. I reconnected the wires and reattached the back panel. After plugging the dryer back in, I tested it out and was relieved to find that it was working properly again. Replacing the thermal fuse was a challenge, but I’m glad I was able to get it done.
