I have a Kenmore washer that I’m having trouble opening the top of. I’m not sure what the best way to do this is, so I’m asking for some help. I’ve tried pushing the button on the top, but that doesn’t seem to do anything. Is there a special way to open the top of a Kenmore washer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I was recently faced with the task of figuring out how to open the top of my Kenmore washer. After searching online for a few minutes, I was able to find the answer. I had to locate the two release levers at the back of the washer. Once I found them, I had to press them in at the same time and then pull the top of the washer up. It was a bit of a struggle, but I was eventually able to get it open.
Once I had the top open, I was able to get a better look at the inside of the washer. I was able to see the various components and how they were connected. I was also able to identify any potential issues that might be causing problems with the washer.
