how to defrost a kenmore refrigerator

I recently purchased a Kenmore refrigerator and I’m having trouble figuring out how to defrost it. I’ve looked through the manual and I’m still not sure how to do it. Does anyone have any experience with this particular model and can provide me with some advice on how to defrost it? I’m hoping to get some helpful tips so that I can keep my food fresh and safe. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  1. I remember the first time I had to defrost a Kenmore refrigerator. I was so nervous, but I was determined to do it right. I started by unplugging the refrigerator and emptying out all the food. I then took a hairdryer and started to heat the back wall of the fridge. I had to be careful not to overheat the wall, so I kept the hairdryer moving. I kept at it until the ice had melted off the wall. I then used a sponge and warm water to wipe away the remaining ice and moisture. After that, I plugged the refrigerator back in and let it run for a few hours. I was relieved to see that the refrigerator was working properly. I had successfully defrosted a Kenmore refrigerator!
