I have a GE ice maker and it is incredibly slow. I have tried to troubleshoot the issue myself, but I haven’t been able to find a solution. I’ve tried cleaning the ice maker and making sure the water line is connected properly, but nothing has worked. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if there is anything else I can do to try to fix it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The most common cause of a slow ice maker is a clogged or frozen water line. This can be caused by a buildup of dirt and debris, or by a kink in the line. In some cases, the water pressure may be too low, or the water filter may need to be replaced. Another potential cause could be a faulty water inlet valve, or a malfunctioning thermostat.
