what is the control lock on an electrolux refrigerator

I recently purchased an Electrolux refrigerator and noticed it has a control lock feature. I’m not sure what this is for and would like to know more about it. Is the control lock used to prevent someone from changing the temperature settings or is it used for something else? Can I use it to lock the refrigerator doors? How do I activate and deactivate the control lock? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Hi there!

Thanks for asking about the control lock on an Electrolux refrigerator! I’m an expert on the subject and would love to help you understand this feature better.

The control lock on an Electrolux refrigerator is a great feature that can help you keep your food and drinks safe from accidental changes. It allows you to lock the temperature settings, so that no one can accidentally change them. This is especially helpful if you have young children in the house who may not be aware of the consequences of changing the temperature settings.

The control lock can be activated by pressing and holding the “Lock” button on the refrigerator’s control panel for three seconds. Once the lock is activated, the control panel will be locked and no changes can be made until the lock is deactivated. To deactivate the lock, press and hold the “Lock” button again for three seconds. Once the lock is deactivated, you can adjust the temperature settings as needed.
