what does ih mean on ge dishwasher

I recently purchased a GE dishwasher and noticed that the display panel has an ih indicator. I’m not sure what this means and I’m hoping someone can help me understand what this indicator is telling me. Is it an error message? Does it mean something is wrong with the dishwasher? Is it something I should be concerned about? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  1. IH stands for “Inlet Heater”, which is a component of the dishwasher that helps to heat the incoming water, allowing it to reach the desired temperature for washing dishes.
