my hotpoint washer smells, how to clean it.

I have a Hotpoint washer and recently I’ve noticed a strange smell coming from it. I’m not sure what it is, but it’s not a pleasant smell. I’ve tried to clean it, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how to clean a Hotpoint washer so that it doesn’t smell anymore? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. My hotpoint washer has been a loyal companion for many years, but lately it’s been giving off a strange smell. I thought it was just the detergent, but the smell persisted. After doing some research, I discovered that the smell was likely caused by mold and mildew.

I decided to take matters into my own hands and clean the washer. I started by running a cycle with hot water and a cup of white vinegar. This helps to break down any residue and remove the smell. After the cycle was finished, I ran a second cycle with hot water and a cup of baking soda. This helps to neutralize the smell and leave the washer smelling fresh.

I also made sure to clean the inside of the washer with a cloth and some mild detergent. This helps to remove any dirt and grime that may have built up over time. I also wiped down the rubber gasket around the door to make sure it was clean
