I recently bought a self-cleaning GE oven and I’m not sure how to use it. I’ve read the instructions but I’m still confused. Can anyone help me out? What steps do I need to take to use the self-cleaning feature? Is there anything I should be aware of before I start the cleaning process? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To use the self-clean feature on your GE oven, first remove all racks and accessories from the oven. Next, press the Self-Clean button on the oven’s control panel. Select the desired cleaning time and temperature. When the cycle is finished, the oven will automatically unlock. Wipe down the inside of the oven with a damp cloth to remove any remaining residue.
