how to self clean oven ge

I’m having a hard time figuring out how to self-clean my oven. I’ve read the manual, but it’s not very clear. I’m wondering if anyone has any tips or advice on how to do it properly. I’ve heard that it’s important to make sure that the oven is completely empty before beginning the self-cleaning cycle, so I’m wondering what other steps I should take. Is there anything else I should do to make sure that the oven is properly cleaned? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  1. To self-clean a GE oven, first remove all racks and oven accessories. Press the self-clean button and select the desired cleaning time. When the cycle is complete, allow the oven to cool and then wipe away any remaining residue.
