I recently had to reset the water filter on my Kitchenaid refrigerator. It was a bit of a challenge, but I eventually figured it out.
First, I turned off the water supply to the refrigerator. Then, I unscrewed the old filter and replaced it with a new one. I made sure to line up the arrow on the filter with the arrow on the filter housing.
Next, I ran the water line to flush the filter. This was the most difficult part, as I had to make sure the water was running in the right direction. Once I figured it out, I was able to flush the filter for about two minutes.
Finally, I turned the water supply back on and ran the water for about a minute to make sure it was clean. I was relieved to see that the filter was reset and the water was now running clean.
