I recently experienced a power outage in my home and now my Kenmore freezer isn’t working. I’m not sure how to reset it and I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but that didn’t seem to do anything. Is there a specific way to reset the freezer after a power outage? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I had a power outage at my house recently, and it left my Kenmore freezer in a state of disarray. I wasn’t sure how to reset it, so I did some research and found out how to do it.
First, I unplugged the freezer from the wall and waited for about five minutes before plugging it back in. Then, I pressed the reset button on the back of the freezer for about five seconds. After that, I set the temperature to the desired level and waited for the freezer to cool down.
Once the freezer was cool, I opened the door and checked the temperature. It was exactly what I had set it to. I was so relieved that I had been able to reset it without having to call a technician or buy a new freezer.
I’m so glad I was able to reset my Kenmore freezer after the power outage. It was a simple process, but it saved me a lot of stress and money
