I recently purchased a Hotpoint HE washing machine and have been having some issues with it. I’ve tried to reset it a few times, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Does anyone have any advice on how to reset a Hotpoint HE washing machine? I’m not sure what else I can do, and would really appreciate some help.

I recently had to reset my Hotpoint HE washing machine. It was a daunting task as I had never done it before, but I was determined to figure it out. I started by unplugging the machine from the wall and leaving it for a few minutes. Then I plugged it back in and held down the start button for three seconds. After that, I pressed the power button and the start button at the same time for three seconds. The machine then reset itself and I was able to select the cycle I wanted. I was relieved to have solved the problem and was thankful for the instructions I found online. I was also thankful that I didn’t have to call a repairman and pay for a service call. I was glad to have saved myself some money and the hassle of having to wait for a technician to come out. I’m sure I’ll be resetting my machine again in the future, but I now know how to do it.
