how to reset ge refrigerator ice maker

I’m having trouble resetting my GE refrigerator’s ice maker. I’ve tried the steps outlined in the manual, but nothing seems to work. I’ve also tried unplugging the refrigerator and plugging it back in, but that didn’t help either. Does anyone have any advice on how to reset my ice maker? I’d really appreciate any help I can get.
