I have a KitchenAid refrigerator and I’m having trouble resetting the filter. I’ve looked online and followed the instructions but it still isn’t working. I recently had to reset the filter on my KitchenAid refrigerator. It was a daunting task at first, but I eventually figured it out.
First, I located the filter. It was tucked away in the back of the fridge, behind the crisper drawer. I unscrewed the cover and removed the filter.
Next, I had to locate the reset button. After a few minutes of searching, I found it. It was a small red button located on the side of the filter. I pressed it and heard a soft click.
I then re-installed the filter, making sure to secure it tightly. After that, I had to reset the filter indicator light. I did this by pressing and holding the reset button on the front of the fridge for a few seconds.
Finally, I ran a few gallons of water through the filter to flush out any debris. Once that was done, I was finished and my filter was reset
