how to replace timer on ge dryer

I have a GE dryer that is not working properly. The timer is not advancing, and I’m not sure how to replace it. I’ve done some research online, but I’m still not sure about the best way to go about replacing the timer. Does anyone have any advice on how to replace the timer on a GE dryer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To replace the timer on a GE dryer, you will need to unplug the dryer from the power source, remove the control panel, locate the timer, disconnect the wiring, remove the timer, and install the new timer.
