how to replace timer assembly on hotpoint washer model# vbxr1070w1ww

I’m having trouble replacing the timer assembly on my Hotpoint washer model# vbxr1070w1ww. I’ve looked online for instructions, but I’m still having trouble understanding what to do. I’ve already unplugged the power cord, taken off the control panel, and disconnected the wires, but I’m not sure what to do next. Is there anyone out there who can help me figure out how to replace the timer assembly? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  1. I recently had to replace the timer assembly on my Hotpoint washer model# VBXR1070W1WW. It was a daunting task at first, but I was determined to get the job done. I started by unplugging the washer and removing the back panel. I then located the timer assembly and disconnected the wiring harness. I removed the two screws that were holding the assembly in place and carefully removed it. I then replaced it with the new timer assembly, making sure to reconnect the wiring harness. Finally, I replaced the back panel and plugged the washer back in. I was relieved to see that the new timer assembly was working perfectly. I was so proud of myself for being able to complete the task. It was a great feeling of accomplishment.
