I have a Kenmore washer and I’m trying to replace the motor coupling. I’ve done some research and found the part I need, but I’m not sure how to go about replacing it. I’m not very handy when it comes to this type of repair, so I’m looking for advice from people who have experience with this type of repair. Can anyone provide me with step-by-step instructions on how to replace the motor coupling on my Kenmore washer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I had a Kenmore washer that was in need of a new motor coupling. I was a bit intimidated by the thought of replacing it, but I decided to take the plunge. I looked up some online tutorials and gathered the necessary tools and parts. I started by unplugging the washer and then I removed the back panel. I then unscrewed the motor and disconnected the wires. I then removed the old motor coupling and replaced it with the new one. I reconnected the wires and screwed the motor back in. I then put the back panel back on and plugged the washer back in. After a few tries, the washer was running like new. I was so relieved and proud of myself for taking on the task. Replacing the motor coupling was a great accomplishment and I was happy to have saved some money by doing it myself.
