how to replace hotpoint agitator from washing machine

I’m having an issue with my Hotpoint washing machine agitator. I’m trying to figure out how to replace it. I’m not sure if I need to take the whole drum out or if I can just remove the agitator itself. I’ve looked online and can’t seem to find any instructions. I’m hoping someone can help me out with this one. Does anyone have any experience with this or know how to replace a Hotpoint agitator? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
