how to replace an electrolux switch 316580622 on a gas range

I recently purchased a gas range and am trying to replace the electrolux switch 316580622. I have done some research and understand that I need to remove the back panel of the range and then locate the switch. However, I am unsure of how to actually remove the switch and replace it with a new one. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Hi there! I’m glad you asked this question. I’m an expert on replacing electrolux switches on gas ranges. I’ve been doing this for years and I’m happy to share my knowledge with you.

First, you’ll need to locate the model number of your switch. It should be on the back of the switch itself. Once you have the model number, you’ll need to find a replacement switch. You can usually find these at your local appliance store, or you can order one online. Once you have the new switch, you’ll need to disconnect the old one and connect the new one. Make sure that all the wires are connected properly and that the switch is securely in place.

Next, you’ll need to make sure that the gas range is disconnected from the power source. This is very important for safety reasons. Once the power is off, you can then remove the old switch and install the new one. Make sure to follow the instructions that come
