I’m having trouble removing the agitator on my Hotpoint washing machine. I’ve tried to do it myself, but I can’t seem to figure out how to do it. I’ve looked online for instructions, but I’m still having trouble. Does anyone have any advice on how to remove the agitator? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I remember the first time I had to remove an agitator from a Hotpoint washing machine. It was a daunting task, but I was determined to do it myself. After some research, I found out that the process was not as complicated as I had feared.
First, I unplugged the washing machine and removed the top lid. Then, I located the agitator and removed the bolt that held it in place. I used a wrench to loosen the bolt, and then I was able to lift the agitator out.
Next, I had to remove the plastic cap at the bottom of the agitator. I used a flathead screwdriver to pry it off. Once I had the cap off, I could access the drive block and remove it.
Finally, I was able to remove the agitator from the washing machine. It was a relief to have the job done. I was proud of myself for
