I am trying to remove the agitator from my Hotpoint washing machine but I am having difficulty. I have looked through the instruction manual but I am still having trouble. I had a tough time removing the agitator from my old Hotpoint washing machine. I was determined to get it out, though, so I did some research online and found some helpful advice.
First, I unplugged the machine and turned off the water supply. Then, I removed the fabric softener dispenser and the top of the agitator. Next, I unscrewed the bolt in the center of the agitator and used a flathead screwdriver to pry it off.
After that, I had to remove the lid of the machine, which was held in place by four screws. I unscrewed them and then carefully lifted the lid off. Finally, I was able to remove the agitator.
It was a long and difficult process, but I eventually got it done. With the help of some online advice, I was able to remove the agitator from my old Hotpoint washing machine.
