I have a Hotpoint oven and I’m trying to remove the inner glass from the door. I’ve tried to do it myself but I’m having trouble figuring out how to do it. Does anyone have any advice? I’m looking for any tips or tricks that could help me get the glass out without damaging the oven. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I had the misfortune of having to remove the inner glass from my Hotpoint oven door recently. It was a daunting task, as I had never done it before. I started by unplugging the oven and allowing it to cool. I then removed the screws from the door frame, and carefully lifted the door away from the oven. I then had to remove the screws from the inner glass, which was tricky as they were very small. After I had removed the screws, I had to carefully lift the glass away from the door and place it on a flat surface. I was very careful not to drop the glass, as it would have shattered. I then used a damp cloth to clean the glass and the door frame, and replaced the glass in the door frame. I then secured the glass with the screws and replaced the door on the oven. I was relieved to have successfully removed and replaced the inner glass from my Hotpoint oven door.
