I’m having trouble removing the drain hose from my Hotpoint washing machine. I’ve tried to pull it off, but it won’t budge. I’m worried that I might break something if I force it. Does anyone have any advice on how to remove the drain hose safely? I’d really appreciate any help or tips that you can provide. Thank you!

It was a typical Saturday morning, and I had a pile of laundry to do. I had been putting it off for weeks, but I finally decided to tackle it. As I was about to start, I realized I had no idea how to remove the drain hose from my Hotpoint washing machine. I had never done this before, and I didn’t want to break anything. I decided to do a little research.
I found a few helpful tutorials online and watched them carefully. I learned that I needed to disconnect the power first, then unscrew the hose from the back of the machine. I followed the instructions step by step, and soon the hose was off. I was relieved that the process was simpler than I had expected. I then reattached the hose, plugged the machine back in, and got to work on the laundry.
The experience taught me that I should always do my research before attempting something new. I’m glad I took
