I recently had to fix the lower wash arm on my Hotpoint washing machine. It was a frustrating experience, but I eventually figured it out.
First, I unplugged the machine from the power source and removed the lower wash arm by unscrewing the screws that held it in place. Then, I checked the arm for any debris or damage. Fortunately, it was in good condition.
Next, I removed the old gasket and replaced it with a new one. Then, I reattached the arm to the machine, making sure all the screws were tightened securely.
Lastly, I plugged the machine back in and ran a cycle. The lower wash arm was now functioning properly.
