how to fix lower wash arm on hotpoint washing machine

I recently bought a Hotpoint washing machine and I’m having trouble with the lower wash arm. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but it doesn’t seem to be spinning correctly. I’ve tried cleaning it and checking the connections, but nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this issue? I’d really appreciate any help or tips.

  1. I recently had to fix the lower wash arm on my Hotpoint washing machine. It was a frustrating experience, but I eventually figured it out.

First, I unplugged the machine from the power source and removed the lower wash arm by unscrewing the screws that held it in place. Then, I checked the arm for any debris or damage. Fortunately, it was in good condition.

Next, I removed the old gasket and replaced it with a new one. Then, I reattached the arm to the machine, making sure all the screws were tightened securely.

Lastly, I plugged the machine back in and ran a cycle. The lower wash arm was now functioning properly.

Although it was a bit of a hassle, I was glad I was able to fix the lower wash arm on my Hotpoint washing machine. It was a great feeling of accomplishment.
