how to drain water from hotpoint washing machine

I have a Hotpoint washing machine and I’m having trouble draining the water. I’ve tried turning the knob to the drain setting, but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything. I’ve checked the manual and it doesn’t mention anything about draining the water. Does anyone have any advice on how to get the water out of my washing machine? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  1. I remember the day I first realized my Hotpoint washing machine was leaking. I had just finished a load of laundry and noticed water pooling around the base. I was so frustrated. After a few minutes of searching online, I found out that the problem was most likely due to a blocked drain hose. I had to figure out how to drain the water from the machine.

I started by unplugging the machine and removing the back panel. I then located the drain hose, which was clogged with lint and other debris. I used a pair of pliers to carefully remove the clog and then used a wet-dry vacuum to suck out the remaining water. Once the hose was clear, I reconnected the back panel and plugged the machine back in.

The next time I ran a load of laundry, I was relieved to see that the water was draining properly. I was so thankful that I was able to fix the problem without having to call a repair
