I remember the first time I had to drain a Hotpoint washing machine. It was a daunting task but I was determined to figure it out.
I started by unplugging the machine from the wall and turning off the water supply. Then, I removed the hoses from the back of the machine and placed them in a bucket. I opened the filter lid on the front of the machine and located the drain hose. I then disconnected the drain hose and placed it in the bucket.
Next, I set the washing machine to the drain cycle and waited for the water to start draining. Once the water had drained out, I put the hoses back in place and reconnected the drain hose. I then put the filter lid back on and plugged the machine back into the wall.
Finally, I checked the bucket to make sure all the water had been drained. After that, I was done and the washing machine was ready to use again.
