how to disassemble kitchenaid washer

I’m having trouble trying to figure out how to disassemble my KitchenAid washer. I’ve looked online and can’t seem to find any instructions on how to do it. I’m wondering if anyone on this forum has any experience with this type of washer and can help me out. I’m not sure what parts I need to remove, or what tools I need to use. Any advice or instructions would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I recently had to disassemble my KitchenAid washer. It was a daunting task, but I was determined to get it done. I started by unplugging the power cord and turning off the water supply. Then I removed the screws that held the back panel in place. I carefully lifted the panel away and set it aside. Next, I disconnected the water hoses and the drain hose from the back of the washer. After that, I unscrewed the four screws that held the top panel in place and lifted it off. I then removed the screws that held the agitator in place and lifted it out. Finally, I unscrewed the screws that held the tub in place and lifted it out. It was a tedious process, but I was proud of myself for getting it done. Now I’m ready to put it back together and get back to doing laundry.
