how to defrost a hotpoint fridge freezer

I have a Hotpoint fridge freezer and I’m unsure how to defrost it. I have read the manual and it doesn’t seem to offer any advice on this matter. I have tried turning off the power and leaving the door open for a few hours, but this doesn’t seem to be working. Can anyone offer any advice on how to defrost a Hotpoint fridge freezer?
