how to clean the filter of a kitchenaid washing machine

I’m having trouble figuring out how to clean the filter of my kitchenaid washing machine. I’ve looked up instructions online, but I’m still having trouble understanding the process. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this particular model and can provide some advice on how to clean the filter. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. I remember the first time I had to clean the filter of my KitchenAid washing machine. I was so nervous, but I knew I had to get it done. I started by unplugging the machine and taking off the bottom panel. Then, I located the filter, which was a small, round, plastic piece. I used a pair of pliers to unscrew it from the machine. Once it was loose, I took it outside and rinsed it off with a garden hose. I used a brush to scrub off any dirt or debris that had built up on the filter. After that, I put the filter back in the machine and reattached the bottom panel. Finally, I plugged the machine back in and tested it out. To my relief, the washing machine worked perfectly. I was so proud that I had been able to clean the filter on my own. Now, I’m a pro at it and can do it without even thinking twice.
