how to clean old hotpoint dishwasher filter

I have an old Hotpoint dishwasher and I’m having trouble with the filter. I’m not sure how to clean it properly and I’m looking for advice. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to clean an old Hotpoint dishwasher filter? I’m hoping to get some help from the forum so I can get my dishwasher working properly again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
