how to clean filter in washing machine kitchenaid

I have a Kitchenaid washing machine and I’m having trouble figuring out how to clean the filter. I’ve looked up instructions online, but they don’t seem to be very clear. Does anyone have any advice on how to clean the filter? I’m not sure if I’m supposed to use a special cleaning solution or if I can just use soap and water. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I remember the first time I had to clean the filter in my KitchenAid washing machine. It was a daunting task, but I was determined to get it done. I started by unplugging the machine and emptying the water. Then I located the filter, which was located inside the machine near the bottom. I used a pair of pliers to carefully remove the filter. I then inspected the filter for any debris or lint that had gotten stuck in it. After I had done that, I used a vacuum cleaner to remove any remaining debris. Finally, I rinsed the filter in warm soapy water and allowed it to dry before putting it back in the machine. I was relieved to have completed the task and was thankful that I was able to do it without any problems. Now, I make sure to clean the filter in my washing machine every few months to ensure that it continues to work properly.
