I have an Electrolux EW28BS71IS8 refrigerator with an ice maker that needs to be changed. I’m not sure how to do this and I’m looking for help. Does anyone know how to change the bimetal for an ice maker in this model? I’ve looked online and can’t seem to find any instructions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

First, you’ll need to unplug the ice maker from the power source. Then, you’ll need to remove the screws that hold the ice maker’s back panel in place. Once the back panel is removed, you’ll be able to access the bimetal. You’ll need to unscrew the screws that hold the bimetal in place, and then carefully remove it.
