how to change agitator hotpoint washer

I have a Hotpoint washer and I’m having a problem with the agitator. It’s not spinning correctly and I’m wondering if there is something I can do to fix it. I’m not sure if it’s a mechanical issue or if it’s something else. I’ve tried looking online for some troubleshooting tips but haven’t been able to find anything that helps. Is there anyone who has experience with this type of washer who can give me some advice on how to fix the agitator? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
