I recently purchased a Hotpoint Condenser Dryer and I’m having trouble changing the belt. I have watched some videos online, but I’m still having trouble understanding the process. Does anyone have any experience with this particular model of dryer and can provide me with some step-by-step instructions on how to change the belt? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I remember the first time I had to change the belt on my Hotpoint condenser dryer. I was a little intimidated at first, but I knew I had to do it. I started by unplugging the dryer and removing the back panel. I then carefully removed the old belt and replaced it with the new one. I made sure to route the belt around the pulley and tensioner wheel in the correct direction. I then replaced the back panel and plugged the dryer back in. Finally, I tested the dryer to make sure the belt was working properly.
I was relieved that I was able to do it on my own and that I didn’t have to call a repairman.
