how to bypass hotpoint washer lid switch

I have a Hotpoint washer and the lid switch is not working. I have tried everything to get it working again, but nothing seems to work. I’m wondering if anyone has any tips or advice on how to bypass the lid switch so that I can get my washer working again. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  1. I was recently faced with a problem where I needed to bypass a Hotpoint washer lid switch. After doing some research, I found that the best way to do this was to remove the lid switch and jumper the two wires together. I then needed to locate the lid switch on the washer, which was a bit tricky. After some trial and error, I was able to locate the switch and remove it. Once I had the switch out, I was able to jumper the two wires together and bypass the switch. This allowed me to get the washer working again. It was a bit of a hassle, but it was worth it in the end. I’m glad I was able to figure out how to bypass the Hotpoint washer lid switch and get my washer working again.
