how do i reset my ge refrigerator after power outage

I recently had a power outage in my home and now my GE refrigerator isn’t working. I’ve checked that the power is back on and it’s plugged in, but it still won’t turn on. I’m wondering if I need to reset it somehow. Does anyone know how to reset a GE refrigerator after a power outage? I’d really appreciate any advice or tips on how to get it working again. Thank you!

  1. To reset your GE refrigerator after a power outage, unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet for at least two minutes. Then plug it back in and wait for the refrigerator to reset itself. If the refrigerator does not reset itself, press and hold the reset button for at least three seconds.
