I’m having trouble getting to the tub on my Hotpoint washing machine. I’ve been trying to figure out how to access it, but I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do. I’ve looked online, but I haven’t been able to find any instructions that are specific to my machine. Does anyone have any experience with this type of machine and know how I can get to the tub? I had been putting off replacing my washing machine for months. I had heard horror stories about how difficult it was to get to the tub on a Hotpoint washing machine. I finally decided that I was going to take the plunge and do it myself.
I started by unplugging the machine and removing the back panel. I was relieved to find that the tub was easily accessible. I then removed the agitator and the old tub. I was surprised to find that the new tub fit perfectly in the same space as the old one.
