how do i force my ge washer to drain

I’m having a problem with my GE washer not draining. I’ve tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but that didn’t work. I’ve also tried checking the drain hose for any clogs, but that didn’t work either. I’m not sure what else to do to get it to drain. Does anyone have any advice on how I can force my GE washer to drain? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. To force your GE washer to drain, you will need to unplug the unit and then locate the drain hose. Next, you will need to remove the drain hose from the back of the washer and place it in a bucket or sink. Finally, turn the water supply back on and the washer should begin to drain.
