I’m having trouble finding the drain pump on my Hotpoint washing machine, model HSWP1000M4WW. I’ve looked all over the machine, but can’t seem to locate it. Can anyone help me out? Does anyone know where the drain pump is located on this model? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I recently bought a Hotpoint washing machine, model HSWP1000M4WW, to replace my old one. I was so excited to have a new machine that I didn’t take the time to read the manual. I started using it right away, but then I noticed that the water wasn’t draining properly. I was stumped. After doing some research, I discovered that the drain pump was located at the bottom of the machine. I was relieved to find the answer to my problem, but I was also embarrassed that I hadn’t taken the time to read the manual. I learned my lesson and now I always take the time to read the instructions before using a new appliance.
