ge oven how to self clean

I recently purchased a new GE oven and am trying to figure out how to use the self-cleaning feature. I’ve read the manual, but I’m still a bit confused. Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to use this feature? I’m looking for step-by-step instructions on how to make the most of this feature. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. To self-clean an oven, start by removing all racks and cleaning any loose debris from the oven. Next, press the “Self-Clean” button on the oven’s control panel and select the desired cleaning time. Allow the oven to preheat, then close the door and let the cleaning cycle run. Once the cycle is complete, allow the oven to cool before wiping away any remaining residue with a damp cloth.
