how to reset kenmore series 500 washer

I have a Kenmore Series 500 washer that I need to reset. I’ve looked online and in the manual, but I’m still having trouble figuring out how to reset it. Does anyone have any advice on how to reset this washer? I’m hoping to get some help so I can get it back up and running again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. I recently had to reset my Kenmore Series 500 washer. It was a daunting task at first, but I was able to figure it out with a little help. First, I unplugged the washer from the wall outlet. I then opened the lid and pushed the start/pause button for three seconds. After that, I pressed the start/pause button again for three seconds. Then I closed the lid and plugged the washer back into the wall outlet. Finally, I pressed the start/pause button once more and the washer was reset. It was a relief to know that I was able to figure out how to reset my washer without having to call a repairman. I’m glad I was able to save some money and time in the process.
