I have a GE refrigerator and it has stopped cooling. I’ve checked the temperature setting and it is set correctly. I’ve also checked the power cord and it is plugged in. I’m not sure what else to do. I’ve heard that it could be a problem with the condenser coils or the compressor, but I’m not sure how to tell. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on what I should do next to get my refrigerator cooling again?
The most common reason for a refrigerator not cooling is a lack of power, a malfunctioning compressor, or a blocked or clogged condenser. Check the power supply to make sure the refrigerator is plugged in and receiving power. If the power is on, check to see if the compressor is running. If it is not, the compressor may need to be replaced. If the compressor is running, check to see if the condenser is blocked or clogged, as this can prevent the refrigerator from cooling.
