why is the green light flashing on my frigidaire freezer

I recently noticed that the green light on my Frigidaire freezer is flashing. I’m not sure what this means or why it’s doing this. I’ve checked the manual and it doesn’t mention anything about a flashing green light. I’m worried that something might be wrong with the freezer and I don’t want to risk any food going bad. Does anyone have any experience with this issue or know what the flashing green light could mean? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. The green light flashing on your Frigidaire freezer indicates that the temperature inside the freezer has risen above the set temperature, and the compressor is running to cool it back down. This is a normal operation of the freezer and should not be a cause for concern.
