I have a GE refrigerator freezer and it’s not freezing. I’m not sure what the problem is, but I’m worried that I might have to replace the whole unit. I’ve already checked the temperature settings and they seem to be okay. I’ve also checked to make sure that the fan is running and that the condenser coils are clean. I’m not sure what else I can do to get it to start freezing again. Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions? I’d really appreciate it.
It is possible that your refrigerator freezer is not freezing due to a lack of power, a malfunctioning thermostat, a blocked or clogged defrost drain, or a failing compressor. You may need to check the power supply, thermostat settings, drain for blockages, and compressor for any signs of failure.
