why is my electrolux refrigerator leaking oil from the bottom?

I recently noticed that my Electrolux refrigerator is leaking oil from the bottom. I’m not sure what is causing this issue and I’m hoping to get some help from other people who may have experienced this issue. I’m concerned that this could be a sign of a bigger problem and I’m not sure how to fix it. I would really appreciate any advice or tips that anyone can provide.

  1. Hi there!

It sounds like you’re having an issue with your Electrolux refrigerator leaking oil from the bottom. This is a common problem with many refrigerators, and it can be caused by a few different things.

The first thing you should check is the drain pan. This is the pan located underneath the refrigerator, and it is designed to catch any condensation that accumulates from the refrigerator. The second thing to check is the door gasket. This is the rubber seal that runs along the edge of the door and helps keep the cold air inside. If the gasket is worn or damaged, it could be causing the oil to leak out. You can check the gasket by running your hand along the edge of the door. If you feel any gaps or tears,
