why does water not shut off on ice maker in amana model asd2575brb01 refrigerator

I have an Amana model ASD2575BRB01 refrigerator and I’m having an issue with the water not shutting off to the ice maker. I have already checked the water supply line and it is not clogged. I have also checked the water inlet valve, which is functioning properly. I’m not sure what else could be causing the water to not shut off. I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what the issue is and how to fix it.
