why does my ge refrigerator freeze food

I have a GE refrigerator that has been freezing my food. I’m not sure why this is happening. I’ve tried adjusting the temperature, but it doesn’t seem to help. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if so, what did you do to fix it? I would really appreciate any advice or tips that you might have. Thanks!

  1. The most likely cause of this issue is a faulty thermostat or temperature control. The thermostat may be set too low, or it may be malfunctioning and not accurately reading the temperature of the fridge. Another possible cause could be a blocked or faulty defrost system, which can cause the temperature to drop too low and freeze food.
