why does my crosley washing machine make so much noise before it starts

I have a Crosley washing machine that has been making a lot of noise before it starts. It’s loud and persistent and it’s been happening for a few weeks now. I’m wondering why this is happening and if there is something I can do to fix it. Is this a common issue with Crosley washing machines? Is there something I can do to stop the noise? Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
