where is the filter reset button on a kitchenaid refrigerator

I recently purchased a Kitchenaid refrigerator and am having trouble locating the filter reset button. I’ve looked in the manual and online, but I can’t seem to find any information about it. Does anyone know where the filter reset button is located on a Kitchenaid refrigerator? I would really appreciate any help or advice. Thank you!

  1. I had just moved into my new place and the first thing I wanted to do was get the fridge set up. I had a KitchenAid refrigerator and I was so excited to get it going. I plugged it in and opened the door, but something was wrong. I couldn’t get the water filter to work. I looked all over the fridge, but I couldn’t find the filter reset button. I was starting to get frustrated and I was about to give up. Then I remembered that I had seen something about the filter reset button being located behind the grille on the bottom of the fridge. I pulled out the fridge and sure enough, there it was. I pressed the reset button and the filter started working. I was so relieved that I had finally figured it out. Now I can enjoy my new fridge and have fresh, filtered water whenever I want.
